Bill overview
This bill directs the Oregon Department of Education to conduct a study on the assessments currently used in Oregon’s public schools. The goal of the study is to determine if these assessments are adequate for measuring student learning and progress. The Department of Education must submit its findings and any recommendations to the Legislative Assembly’s education committees by September 15, 2027.
