Bill overview
This bill makes several changes to state government operations and funding. It increases fees for athletic commissions, revises the California Education Learning Laboratory, adjusts funding for the Department of Food and Agriculture, modifies the operation of the State Race Track Leasing Commission and the Office of Farm to Fork, updates procurement procedures, and establishes a new Office of Regional Economic Development Initiatives within GO-Biz. It also extends the lifespan of a state reserve fund and modifies the process for evaluating the Next Generation 911 emergency communication system. Finally, it requires the Department of Technology to consult with other agencies on system maintenance.
