Bill overview
This bill amends the Z’berg-Nejedly Forest Practice Act of 1973 to increase the acreage limits for nonindustrial timber management plans and working forest management plans. Specifically, it raises the maximum acreage allowed for these plans to 4,000 acres for nonindustrial tree farmers and 15,000 acres for working forest landowners. The bill also removes an exemption previously in place for the Southern Subdistrict of the Coast Forest District regarding working forest management plans and harvest notices.
