Bill overview
This bill changes how information about statewide ballot measures is displayed on ballots. Specifically, it requires the top three contributors to an initiative or referendum measure – those donating $100,000 or more – to be listed immediately after the supporters and opponents. The Secretary of State must make these top contributors’ information available for public review, and voters can challenge the listing if they believe it’s inaccurate. The bill also addresses face coverings in the workplace, prohibiting employers from preventing employees from wearing them unless it poses a safety risk.
