Bill overview
This bill removes the authority for law enforcement officers or public employees to directly remove vehicles under certain parking and traffic violation circumstances. Specifically, it eliminates the ability to remove vehicles based on five or more outstanding parking notices or traffic violations without a response, and removes the authority to remove vehicles from off-street parking facilities based on similar violation histories. The bill also removes the ability to immobilize vehicles based on a history of delinquent parking notices.
