Bill overview
This bill temporarily exempts certain bridge and culvert repair projects in Sutter County from standard environmental regulations. Specifically, it allows for the repair or reconstruction of bridges 30 feet or less in length and culverts 70 feet or less that have been damaged by natural disasters (fire, flood, etc.) between January 1, 2022, and December 31, 2024. This exemption is intended to address urgent needs for infrastructure repair in the county, particularly regarding evacuation routes, but is limited in scope and duration.
