Bill overview
This bill aims to improve how schools in California use technology to help students succeed. It requires the state board to create a guide of best practices for using technology in local control and accountability plans (LCAPs). The bill also directs the state to survey schools, establish an advisory committee, and track how schools are implementing these best practices to accelerate student achievement. Furthermore, it requires county offices of education to analyze school district technology practices and compare them to the state’s best practices compilation.
