Bill overview
This bill extends the ability for career technical education (CTE) courses to count toward a high school graduation requirement. Previously, CTE courses were not allowed to fulfill this requirement, but this bill removes that restriction. Local educational agencies can choose to offer CTE courses, and the bill includes provisions to ensure transparency and parental involvement in these decisions. It also makes related changes to the Education Code.
