It requires companies creating or hosting AI-generated images, videos, or audio to provide tools allowing users to determine if the content was created by AI. Larger online platforms will need to detect and disclose provenance data for content, and capture device manufacturers will offer options for users to include disclosures about their devices when capturing content. The bill has been delayed in implementation to allow for standard specifications to be developed.
