Bill overview
This bill amends the San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG) board of directors structure. It proposes replacing the County of San Diego supervisor designated as a ‘secondary representative’ with a resident of an unincorporated area of San Diego, selected by and subject to recall from a majority of the county’s community planning groups. The bill also eliminates the requirement that one of the County supervisors be from an incorporated area and the other from an unincorporated area, and provides for an alternative representative if the secondary representative is unavailable.
