Overview
This bill modifies requirements for therapists licensed by the Board of Behavioral Sciences to provide clients with notices about the board’s complaint process. It allows employing entities in specific settings, such as psychiatric hospitals and correctional facilities, to exercise discretion in whether to include all identifying information about the therapist in the notice, based on individual safety concerns, provided certain procedures are in place to allow clients to request identification information.
