Overview
This bill establishes rules for how youth programs can use identifying information about children participating in their activities. It requires programs to get written consent from a youth’s parent or guardian before using photos, videos, audio recordings, or other personal details for marketing, educational materials, or training. The bill also gives parents the right to revoke this consent at any time and prohibits programs from making participation dependent on providing this consent or selling youth information.
