Overview
This bill changes the process for reviewing state regulations. Currently, the Office of Administrative Law has 30 days to either approve or disapprove a regulation and provide reasons for disapproval. This bill extends the timeframe for the Office of Administrative Law to report the disapproval and its reasons to the Legislature to 60 days. It also clarifies procedures for agencies to request the return of regulations for review.
