Overview
This bill makes a minor change to the requirements for the chief deputy of the Geologic Energy Management Division. Currently, the chief deputy must be a licensed engineer or geologist with experience in oil and gas development and production. This bill simply clarifies that the chief deputy should ideally be licensed in the state. The change is intended to be a nonsubstantive update to existing law.
