Bill overview
This bill changes the scope of practice for podiatrists in Tennessee. Specifically, it limits podiatrists’ ability to treat soft tissue conditions to the lower leg, distal to the tibial tuberosity, rather than extending up to the distal tibial metaphyseal flair. This amendment modifies existing Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 63, to clarify these limitations. The bill was amended from House Bill 2021.
