Bill overview
This bill modifies the Oklahoma Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC). It increases the percentage of the federal EITC that can be claimed as a credit in Oklahoma from five percent to ten percent. The credit will apply to tax years beginning on or after January 1, 2026, and is subject to proration based on the taxpayer's Oklahoma and federal adjusted gross income. The bill also establishes an effective date for the changes.
