This bill eliminates the Strategic Outreach and Attraction Reserve Fund (SOAR fund) from Michigan’s trust funds. The SOAR fund was established to support economic development initiatives. The bill amends the Michigan Trust Fund Act to remove the fund and repeal a related section. Passage is contingent upon the enactment of Senate Bill 488.
