Bill overview
This bill allows the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) and its designated agents, who issue hunting, fishing, and fur harvester licenses, to provide voter registration applications to residents. The DNR will make these applications available to the public and offer a link to the state’s online registration form when someone applies for a license. Importantly, the DNR cannot assist individuals in completing the voter registration application itself, maintaining its role as a license-issuing agency and not a voter registration agency.
