Bill overview
This bill changes the rules for purchasing deer licenses in Michigan. Starting March 1, 2014, anyone with a valid base hunting license can get two antlerless deer licenses each year for free. The Department of Natural Resources will also charge a small application fee for antlerless deer licenses. The bill also clarifies the use of kill tags associated with deer licenses and allows for additional licenses to be purchased at a set fee.
