Bill overview
This bill changes the continuing education requirements for physicians, podiatrists, and osteopathic physicians practicing in Michigan. It reduces the required number of continuing education hours from 150 to 120 hours starting January 1, 2027. The bill also mandates that a portion of the required continuing education must focus on pain and symptom management. These changes are made to sections of the Public Health Code.
