Bill overview
House Bill 4999 creates a new fund within the state treasury called the Michigan Nonprofit Development Fund. This fund will be used to provide grants to statewide nonprofit membership organizations and offer interest-free microloans to nonprofits. The fund can also cover administrative costs associated with its operations. This bill is contingent on the passage of Senate Bill No. 1718 and House Bill 4998.
