Bill overview
This bill amends the Natural Resources Trust Fund Act to broaden the recipients of funds to include state departments, in addition to local governments and public authorities. It allows state departments to use trust fund money for acquiring land, developing recreation facilities, and administering the fund. The bill also requires matching funds from local governments for grants and mandates that a significant portion of the fund be used for land acquisition and recreation facility development.
