Bill overview
This bill prohibits off-selling retailers with large sales floors (over 2,500 square feet) from placing co-branded alcoholic beverages – those with similar branding to non-alcoholic drinks – next to products like candy, toys, or snacks featuring cartoons or youth-oriented imagery. Retailers with smaller sales floors can either avoid this placement or post a clear sign stating the beverage is for adults aged 21 or older. Violations will result in fines deposited into a state fund.
