Bill overview
This bill modifies the requirements for psychologists’ licenses in Michigan. Specifically, it temporarily requires all psychologists, except those working for government or charitable nonprofits, to be supervised by a licensed psychologist for 180 days after the law’s enactment. After that period, the supervision requirement applies only to individuals with limited licenses who are not diagnosing autism spectrum disorders or who have held a limited license for at least three years while diagnosing such disorders. The bill is contingent on the passage of Senate Bill 104.
