Overview
This bill allows Alabama residents with certain medical conditions, often referred to as "invisible disabilities," and their primary caregivers to obtain a special "Invisible Disability" license plate decal. Individuals must provide a physician’s diagnosis to qualify and pay standard and any additional license plate fees. The decal will match the vehicle owner’s chosen license plate and will not grant access to special parking spaces unless a separate disability plate is held.
