Overview
This bill requires the Alabama Board of Pardons and Paroles to make information and an application available online for individuals seeking to restore their voting rights after a criminal conviction. The board must post procedures and a form for requesting restoration, and notify both the applicant and the Secretary of State when voting rights are successfully restored. Furthermore, the board will publicly display the AIS numbers of parolees and probationers whose voting rights have been reinstated, along with their county of residence.
