Overview
This bill establishes a Contract Review Permanent Legislative Oversight Committee to review contracts entered into by state departments and agencies. The committee can recommend that the Governor not sign contracts it is reviewing. It requires departments to submit proposed contracts or letters of intent to the committee for review, with a deadline of 45 days for a hearing and recommendation. Contracts made without this review will be considered void.
