Overview
This bill changes Alabama law to allow county commissions to use procurement programs for purchases of services, in addition to tangible personal property. It also permits county commissions to consider administrative savings alongside cost savings when evaluating these programs. Furthermore, the bill allows county commissions to designate someone other than the chief administrative officer to oversee the procurement program.
