Overview
This Alabama bill requires public high schools to provide space and time for military recruiters to administer the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) to students. Students’ participation in the ASVAB administration is entirely voluntary. The bill amends existing law to ensure that high schools offer equal access to recruiters as they do to other potential employers. It will take effect on October 29, 2026.
