Overview
This bill exempts Precision Ocular, a specific business, from paying Alabama’s state and local sales taxes for a five-year period, starting October 1, 2026. Local counties and municipalities can also choose to exempt Precision Ocular from their local sales taxes with approval. This exemption is intended to provide a temporary tax break for this business. The bill also sets a date for the law to take effect.
