Overview
This bill changes Alabama law to allow the Alabama Department of Revenue to issue certificates of title for manufactured homes that were built in 1999 or earlier. Currently, these homes are not eligible for titles. The bill updates existing code to specifically allow current owners of these older models to request and receive a title. This change simplifies ownership and transfer of these homes.
