Overview
This bill proposes the creation of special registration plates in Alaska to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the United States. The Alaska Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) would be authorized to issue these plates, and the commissioner would decide on their design and color. The DMV can deny requests if the plates are duplicates of existing ones. The bill takes effect immediately.
