Overview
This bill changes the qualifications and confirmation process for members of the Alaska Permanent Fund Corporation’s Board of Trustees. Specifically, it requires that four of the six board members be residents of Alaska with experience in finance or business management, and mandates that these four public members be separately confirmed by a majority of the Alaska legislature. The bill also adjusts term lengths and procedures for filling vacancies on the board.
