Overview
This bill creates a state grant program to help Alaska museums build new facilities, expand existing ones, or make significant renovations. Museums that apply for these grants must match at least 50% of the project costs with funds from other sources. The Department of Education and Early Development will administer the program and establish guidelines for eligibility and application. The grants are intended to improve museum infrastructure and educational offerings.
