Bill overview
This bill directs the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) to study the air emissions potential of various gasoline blends, including federal and California formulations, and to report on their suitability for sale in different areas of the state. It also requires the Arizona Department of Agriculture to conduct a feasibility study to assess the impact of authorizing new gasoline blends. The bill includes appropriations of $100,000 each for ADEQ’s modeling efforts and the Department of Agriculture’s feasibility study.
