Bill overview
House Bill 2273 creates a one-time income tax rebate for Arizona residents who lived in Pinal County between 2018 and 2024 and filed a full-year resident tax return in 2026. Each eligible taxpayer will receive $300, which will be subtracted from their Arizona gross income. The rebates will be distributed by November 15, 2027, and those who don't receive them can file a claim application. Funds for the rebates will come from an escrow account managed in partnership with Pinal County and the Pinal Regional Transportation Authority.
