Bill overview
This bill prohibits teachers in Arizona from striking or engaging in organized work stoppages against their school districts or charter schools. If a strike occurs, the Arizona Department of Education will calculate the impact on student enrollment and instructional time, particularly for students receiving online or alternative instruction. Based on these calculations, the bill proposes a reduction in funding for affected school districts, which can be appealed to the State Board of Education.
