Bill overview
Senate Bill 1567 prohibits state government agencies, cities, towns, counties, and their contractors from exposing minors to sexually explicit materials. It also restricts the filming of sexually explicit acts on properties owned or managed by these entities. Individuals hired by the state will be required to sign an acknowledgment form confirming they’ve read the new regulations, which define key terms related to sexually explicit content. The bill excludes sexually explicit materials presented in legal proceedings where a minor has a legitimate presence.
