Bill overview
Senate Bill 1798 establishes a financial aid awareness program within the Arizona Department of Education. This program recognizes schools that actively promote and support students and families in completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Schools participating in the program must designate a point of contact, provide financial aid information to students and families, and implement a strategy to educate students and parents about the benefits and importance of FAFSA.
