Bill overview
This resolution proposes an amendment to Arizona’s Constitution to give death row inmates a choice of execution method. Currently, lethal injection is the default, but this amendment would allow inmates to select between a firing squad, intravenous injection, or lethal gas. If a chosen method is unavailable, the state must provide a lawful alternative. The amendment would be put to a vote of the people.
