89R1241 JCG-D By: Bell of Montgomery H.B. No. 572 A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT relating to the purchase of military service credit in the Employees Retirement System of Texas. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: SECTION 1. Section 811.001, Government Code, is amended by adding Subdivisions (16-a), (16-b), and (17-a) to read as follows: (16-a) "State active duty" has the meaning assigned by Section 437.001. (16-b) "State training and other duty" has the meaning assigned by Section 437.001.
