89R465 CXP-D By: Tepper H.B. No. 582 A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT relating to proper etiquette during the recitation of the pledge of allegiance to the state flag. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: SECTION 1. Section 3100.104, Government Code, is amended to read as follows: Sec. 3100.104. RECITING PLEDGE. If the pledge to the state flag is recited, each person who is present and: (1) not in uniform should: (A) face the state flag and stand at attention
