No. 617 A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT relating to the prohibition of housing discrimination on the basis of veteran status and to the enforcement of that prohibition. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: SECTION 1. Section 301.003, Property Code, is amended by adding Subdivision (13) to read as follows: (13) "Veteran status" means the status of a person as a veteran, as that term is defined by Section 2308.251, Government Code.
