89R482 CXP-D By: Leo Wilson H.B. No. 629 A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT relating to advanced placement courses that may be offered by a school district. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: SECTION 1. Subchapter A, Chapter 28, Education Code, is amended by adding Section 28.0091 to read as follows: Sec. 28.0091. ADVANCED PLACEMENT COURSE STANDARDS. (a) A school district may offer an advanced placement course only if the course complies with: (1) the school laws of this state; and
