89R3403 SCL-F By: Bernal H.B. No. 664 A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT relating to consideration of location of an offeror's principal place of business in awarding certain municipal contracts. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: SECTION 1. Subchapter Z, Chapter 271, Local Government Code, is amended by adding Section 271.9052 to read as follows: Sec. 271.9052. CONSIDERATION OF LOCATION OF OFFEROR'S PRINCIPAL PLACE OF BUSINESS IN AWARDING CERTAIN MUNICIPAL CONTRACTS. (a) This section applies only to a municipality that has a population of 700,000 or more.
