By: Bernal H.B. No. 693 A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT relating to the calculation of average daily attendance for school districts providing certain full-day prekindergarten programs. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: SECTION 1. Section 48.005, education code, is amended by adding Subsection (a-1) to read as follows: (a-1) Notwithstanding Section 29.153(c), in computing the sum of attendance under Subsection (a) for a school year, a school district may include full days of attendance for each prekindergarten student who attends a full-day prekindergarten program offered by the district, provided that:
