89R3638 RAL-D By: Gervin-Hawkins H.B. No. 707 A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT relating to the use of parental child safety placements. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: SECTION 1. Subchapter L, Chapter 264, Family Code, is amended by adding Section 264.908 to read as follows: Sec. 264.908. USE OF PARENTAL CHILD SAFETY PLACEMENTS. (a) Notwithstanding other law, the department shall use a parental child safety placement in each case in which the department determines it is appropriate.
