89R1090 CXP-F By: Shaheen H.B. No. 725 A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT relating to the permissible uses of the bilingual education allotment provided under the Foundation School Program. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: SECTION 1. Section 48.105(b), Education Code, is amended to read as follows: (b) At least 55 percent of the funds allocated under this section must be used in providing bilingual education or special language programs under Subchapter B, Chapter 29.
