89R3642 CMO-D By: Gervin-Hawkins H.B. No. 753 A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT relating to the offering of certain high school courses for which students may earn college credit. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: SECTION 1. Section 28.009, Education Code, is amended by adding Subsection (a-6) to read as follows: (a-6) A governmental entity or state officer may not prohibit a course or any instructional component of a course from being offered at a high school if an accredited institution of higher education in this state awards course credit in the subject
