89R3263 RAL-D By: Goodwin H.B. No. 803 A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT relating to the monthly amount of longevity pay for state employees. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: SECTION 1. Section 659.044(a), Government Code, is amended to read as follows: (a) Except as provided by Subsections (e) and (f) and Section 659.0445, the monthly amount of longevity pay is $50 [$20] for every two years of lifetime service credit. SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025.
